Song Spa at Gran Meliá Nha Trang was designed by H2X as a restorative journey, where space, materiality and light work together to support a deeper sense of relaxation.
Inspired by the spirit of the traditional Turkish Hammam, the design avoids literal replication. Instead, arches, curved forms, stone surfaces and warm tones are reinterpreted through a contemporary language suited to Nha Trang’s coastal resort context. Timber, soft lighting and carefully controlled proportions create a sense of privacy without making the spaces feel enclosed.
Rather than treating the spa as a collection of separate treatment rooms, H2X organized it as a continuous sequence of experiences. Clear circulation supports efficient operation while maintaining a calm rhythm from arrival and transition through treatment and recovery.
In the sea-facing treatment rooms, the landscape becomes part of the wellness experience rather than simply a backdrop. Open views, natural light and tactile materials help guests slow down, rebalance and reconnect with the relationship between body, space and the surrounding environment.
