Nonée Vietnamese Fusion Restaurant is a hospitality project designed by H2X Studio at 2A Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hanoi, within a building that has stood for more than 120 years. For H2X, the project was not about creating an entirely new environment, but about extending the memory of the existing architecture through a refined contemporary language suited to today’s dining experience.
The design preserves the character and warmth of the original building while introducing carefully considered layers of materials, lighting and furniture. The result is an atmosphere that feels intimate, understated and sophisticated. The spatial planning also allows for different modes of hospitality, ranging from everyday dining and private dining to small gatherings and bespoke events.
Nonée’s interior concept closely reflects the restaurant’s culinary philosophy: preserving the familiarity and soul of Vietnamese culture while reinterpreting it through a fresh perspective. Through this balance, H2X creates a setting where architecture, cuisine and experience come together to tell a coherent story of contemporary Vietnamese identity.
