Senior Interior Designer

About the Role H2X Studio is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Design Department in Hanoi. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for interior architecture, refined aesthetics, and the ability to transform design ideas into compelling, functional and memorable spaces. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take an active role throughout the design process, from research and concept development to design documentation, material selection and project implementation. You will collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, suppliers and clients to ensure that each project reflects H2X Studio’s design vision and meets the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities • Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes and design narratives. • Create space planning, furniture layouts, interior elevations and detailed design solutions. • Lead and coordinate design development for high-end residential, hospitality and commercial projects. • Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, artwork and FF&E appropriate to each project. • Review drawings, specifications and design documentation to ensure consistency and quality. • Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders. • Participate in client presentations and clearly communicate design concepts and solutions. • Support and mentor junior designers within the project team. • Conduct site visits and assist in resolving design issues during construction and installation. • Maintain awareness of international design trends, materials, technologies and hospitality standards. Requirements • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in high-end residential, hospitality or luxury projects. • Strong design thinking, spatial awareness and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and interior construction. • Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools. • Ability to develop and communicate concepts through sketches, presentations, drawings and visual references. • Good project coordination and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within project deadlines. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • English communication skills are an advantage.
