Architect - Technical Design

About the Role H2X Studio is seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Architect – Technical Design to join our Technical Team in Hanoi. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of architectural and interior design documentation, excellent AutoCAD skills, and the ability to translate design concepts and 3D models into accurate, coordinated technical drawings. You will work closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, consultants and contractors to ensure that design intent is correctly developed and documented throughout the project. Key Responsibilities • Participate in site surveys, measurements and project assessments with the design team. • Review design information, concepts and technical requirements provided by project leaders. • Develop architectural and interior technical drawings from approved design concepts and 3D models. • Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details and construction documentation. • Check and verify dimensions, levels, materials and technical information in drawings and 3D models. • Coordinate architectural and interior drawings with structural, MEP and other consultant information. • Identify technical conflicts and propose practical solutions during design development. • Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency and compliance with project standards. • Organize and manage drawing files, revisions and technical documentation systematically. • Support designers in developing technically feasible solutions while maintaining the original design intent. • Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors and suppliers when required. • Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submissions and technical information during the construction phase. • Conduct site visits where necessary to verify design implementation and resolve technical issues. • Collaborate with other project teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Requirements • Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or a related field. • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant professional experience; internship experience may be considered for strong candidates. • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. • Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or other 3D/BIM software is an advantage. • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, interior details and construction documentation. • Good spatial awareness and ability to understand 3D models and translate them into technical drawings. • Knowledge of materials, finishes and common construction methods is an advantage. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good organizational and file-management skills. • Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and identify drawing conflicts. • Responsible, proactive and willing to learn. • Good teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to work under project deadlines. • English communication and technical reading skills are an advantage.
